About our patient group

We have an active patient participation group at our practice.

Our PPG brings together patients and practice staff to help improve the services we provide. It is a forum where patients can share their experiences, offer suggestions, and work with us to shape how we deliver care to our community.

What is the purpose of a PPG?

A Patient Participation Group exists to:

  • Provide a way for patients to offer feedback and contribute to decisions about practice services
  • Strengthen the relationship between the practice and its patients
  • Support the practice in developing new services or improving existing ones
  • Help ensure patient views are heard when changes are considered
  • Promote health and well-being initiatives within the community

PPGs are not a place to discuss individual complaints, personal medical issues, or specific clinical cases. Instead, they focus on the wider patient experience and how the practice can continue to improve.

How will the PPG meet?

To make participation accessible for as many people as possible:

  • Most activity will take place virtually, through online surveys, email discussions, and occasional video calls
  • We will hold at least one face-to-face meeting each year for those who wish to attend in person

Who can join?

Any registered patient — or carer of a registered patient — is welcome to express interest. We aim to include a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and experiences to ensure the group reflects our whole practice population.

How to register your interest

If you would like to be involved, please fill in the online form, email us at nencicb-nor.gashouse.a84039@nhs.net, or call 01670 513657, and let us know.
